- No interest charges. We report all monthly payment history to all three (3) major credit reporting agencies.
- Payments may be made by Paypal* by special request ONLY by email; USPS money order, and/or certified bank check (cashier's check).
- Easy monthly payments. You may pay as often as you wish, but a minimum of one payment must be made each month.
- The first payment must be at least 50-75% of the total purchase price ($150.00 minimum if paying by credit card, up to a maximum of $500.00 if order totals are over $3,000.00 or more).
- The minimum payment made each month will be no less than $100.00 on any layaway. ($150.00 minimum if paying by credit card or Paypal with additional fees for accepting your payment).
- There is a Cancellation Fee of 25%. If you decide to later to change your mind on your purchase order you will have to pay a fee of 25%, and all payments made will not be refundable to you.
- There is a Restocking Fee of 35% if our merchandise has been purchased and you wish to cancel your order once you activated your lay-away account.
- The lay-away must be completed within Ninety (90) days from the date your lay-away account has been approved.
- First payment must be received within Three (3) days from the date of your initial order, and/or the same day in which your new lay-away account has been opened with us. If Customization, we need your payment in to our system so that we can meet your desired date of delivery.
- If no payment is received within Thirty (30) Days, your lay-away is forfeited; and the initial deposit and/or all previous payments will not be refunded.
- Please note if you wish to be auto-rebilled then you are bound to the auto-rebill request initiated to us. You can not remove the auto-rebill status, so please be sure you want to be rebilled automatically.
- Your e-mail address and invoice number must be included with all payments or we will return your order unprocessed, and your Lay-Away Account will be declined.
- If you wish to pay by personal check, you must complete our Lay-Away Check Approval Form and return it to us signed with all requested documents before we will accept your personal check as payment on any Lay-Away Account you setup with us.
- Then, when paying by personal check, check(s) must clear our bank before merchandise will be shipped; and we require a minimum of Ten (10) business days for your check to clear our financial institution.
- All payments should be made payable to "Designer Freak, Inc." or as instructed on our Directmail Order Form, and then returned by Priority and/or Express Mail delivery to us at the address referenced below; or for fastest service, you can use the address on our Fax / Directmail Order Form. (Please allow an additional 3-4 business days for processing if using the Warehouse Address on our order forms.)
- Layaway downpayments may be sent to us by email using either www.Moneypak.com, Quick Collect, Western Union Money Transfer, or Bank Wire Transfer.
All payments by directmail must be sent to us as follows: (No Exceptions!)
Priority and/or Express Mail payments only with signature and delivery confirmation requested are the only methods of directmail payments we will accept. We are not responsible for your mailed in payments if they are not certified/registered through the US Postal Service.

We will notify you by email of the total amount required to satisfy your order. If you would like an exact price, please email us all the Item #'s from our website, Item Name, Price Extended, and Quantities for your order and your first/last name with your email address. PAYPAL PAYMENT NOTICE: International and USA Orders
If you make a payment to us by Paypal, or pay an online invoice from us by directmail, email, and/or online; all Paypal payments received or sent to us, will be charged a 10% acceptance fee based on the total amount of your order total, monthly payment sent, and/or total amount billed at the time you send or accept authorization by Paypal for a payment to us at any time by Paypal. If you wish to avoid the Paypal payment fee, might we suggest that you send your payment by directmail using a Cashier’s Check and/or US Postal Service Money Order.
* If you choose to calculate your order without confirming the total amount due; and you owe us more on your order total due to it not being calculated properly; we will bill you online through Paypal for the total amount that meets the difference before we forward your order to our warehouse or fulfillment center for immediate processing. All payments must be made to us before we prepare your items ordered for shipping even if you are using our Lay-Away Account feature. All Custom Made Order requests will require a minimum of 6-8 weeks for delivery unless we specify at the time that you contact us. We will confirm your order totals first, and then notify you by directmail when your order has been received that your total amount due is correct or requires revision. All orders are also confirmed by email immediately when received.
HOW TO OPEN YOUR LAY-AWAY ACCOUNT:
1. Visit our Order Form section of the website. Download our Fax/Directmail Order Form and complete it with all the items you wish to Lay-Away on our Website.
2. Add up your total order and make sure you double-check your total order amount due total. For Example: If your total amount due (with shipping included) comes up to $500.00; the total downpayment for your Lay-Away Account would be $250.00 (this is your 50% downpayment). This is the amount you would need to send to us to activate your new Lay-Away. If a Custom Made order, we require 75% of your order total amount due instead. So please be sure to calculate your totals properly.
3. You can figure your monthly payments (without interest) by dividing $250.00 (balance remaining) X 3 months; which equal Ninety (90) Days. ($250.00 divided by 3 = $83.34) $83.34 is your total monthly payment amount due; but because we charge a minimum Lay-Away Payment of $150.00 per month, your total amount due will be $150.00 no matter how the calculated number ranges. You would be billed each month $150.00 minimum to complete your Ninety (90) Day Lay-Away Account until the entire balance has been paid-in-full. (Payment Coupons will be sent out to you immediately by directmail and/or by email when your new Lay-Away Account Application has been approved.)
4. If for any reason you are not able to pay off the total amount still due on your Lay-Away within Ninety (90) Days, you will forefeit all monies paid to the Lay-Away Account with us unless you request an extension. If you choose to request an extension, it must be submitted to us at least Thirty (30) Days BEFORE your Lay-Away Account Balance Remaining becomes due. There is an extension fee of $75.00 that will be added to your total amount due if your request for an extension is approved. If an extension was not requested within the timeframe allowed, all proceeds paid on your Lay-Away Account will be forfeited and all merchandise on hold for you will return to our stock inventory.
5. To apply right now, Contact Us to request a Lay-Away Application. If you are ready to open an account without applying first, you may do that also as long as your Order Form has been completed and you return the 50% downpayment requested with your Order Form. To make sure you are approved before sending in your Order, please Contact Us for a Lay-Away Application before sending in your Order Form.
